Before bidding on a hospital project, an Estimator reviews the structural drawings. They calculate the square footage of formwork, the tonnage of rebar, and the volume of concrete. They apply local labor rates and material costs to generate a precise pre-tender estimate to ensure the contractor bids profitably.
